Crimson River is a progressive Southern Gospel trio currently based out of Hampton, IL. Crimson River draws it roots from a small church in Davenport, IA. What initially began a trio singing specials at church eventually led to its formal organization on June 21, 1991.
Since 1991, there has been a strong focus to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through song and estimony and that passion still remains. Crimson River has ministered in various venues including church services, revivals, and state and county fairs. This group has traveled extensively across the Midwest and southern United States.
Crimson River also had the opportunity on September 11, 2011 to participate with Headquarters First Army (a three-star Army command) in remembrance of the tenth anniversary of 9-11.
Over the course of time, Crimson River has shared the stage with various Southern Gospel Artists including The Bowling Family, Karen Peck and New River, The Perrys, and The Dixie Melody Boys.
